The Division 2: Survivors Is Coming: Winter, Survival and Closed Tests

Survivors turns Washington D.C. into a harsh winter survival zone with PvE or PvP sessions, changing weather, temperature and extraction systems.

Washington D.C. freezes over

The Division 2: Survivors covers Washington D.C. in deep snow. Snow slows movement and leaves visible tracks, while falling night temperatures make heat sources important.

PvE or PvP

Players choose between PvE and PvP-enabled sessions. Weather, loot, routes and extraction points change between runs.

Closed testing

Ubisoft plans to open closed-test registration during 2026. A precise date has not been announced. The studio also confirmed continued Year 9 support for The Division 2.
