Diablo V Officially Announced: Sanctuary Has Fallen, Diablo Has Won

When will Diablo V launch?

Blizzard plans to release Diablo V in spring 2029. Development is still at an early stage, with regular progress reports planned from 2027.

A fallen Sanctuary

Past heroes have failed and Diablo rules from Westmarch. Players become the Heir of Westmarch and travel with a mobile caravan that grows through new companions and services.

First classes

• Demon Hunter returns with dual crossbows and mobility.
• Monk combines close combat with sacred power.
• Plague Knight spreads disease and converts it into strength.

The item system draws on Diablo II with runes, runewords, sets and expanded crafting.
